Attorney Catherine E. Sears joined Gross McGinley in July 2024 and immediately became an integral part of the Wills, Trusts, and Estates practice group. Catherine was raised in Chester County and returned to the Lehigh Valley area after attending law school and beginning her career in Virginia, where she lived for ten years. A graduate of William and Mary Law School, Class of 2017, Catherine started her legal career in Williamsburg, Virginia as a Clinic Fellow, then as a Law Clerk, and then as an Associate Attorney at The Peninsula Center for Estate and Lifelong Planning.

Attorney Sears was drawn to serving as an estate attorney through her experiences with her grandfather and looks to provide the best quality service to individuals in need of planning for their future and the future of their loved ones. In addition to her legal practice, Catherine gives back to her community using her knowledge and skills to assist people in their planning needs.  She regularly conducts presentations on the importance of estate planning at various independent and assisted living communities. Catherine is also a Wills for Heroes program volunteer, providing legal estate planning services for first responders and veterans.
