Zachary R. Fowler believes in empathy and compassion when it comes to serving his clients.

Zach is a partner at Gross McGinley and a member of the Litigation, Medical Malpractice, and Insurance Defense teams.  His career began practicing law as an Associate with Gross McGinley from 2012 through 2019 and returning to Gross McGinley in 2023 as a Partner.

Zach is guided by the legal philosophy of Atticus Finch, the protagonist in To Kill and Mockingbird, that, “simply because we were licked a hundred years before we started is no reason for us not to try to win.” Zach has navigated complex litigation matters and found success in many cases, including some that initially seemed unwinnable. Since rejoining Gross McGinley in 2023, Zach has achieved the following results:

  • As lead counsel, obtained a defense verdict following a one-week jury trial on behalf of physical therapists in an electrical burn case;
  • As lead counsel, obtained a defense verdict following a two-week jury trial on behalf of a medical institution in a pediatric surgery case;
  • As lead counsel, obtained a defense award following a one-day binding arbitration on behalf of an obstetrician in an emergency C-Section case;
  • As lead counsel, obtained a defense verdict following a three-week jury trial on behalf of a medical institution in a neurosurgery case

Zach also has experience in other areas of civil litigation. From 2021-2023, Zach achieved the following results for his clients:

  • As lead counsel, obtained a defense award following an arbitration on behalf of a national restaurant chain in a civil assault and battery case;
  • As lead counsel, obtained a defense award following a two-day jury trial on behalf of a national retailer in a slip and fall case;
  • As lead counsel, obtained dismissal of a Department of Health investigation into EMS providers;
  • As co-counsel, obtained a defense verdict following a one-week jury trial on behalf of EMS providers in a pulmonary embolism case

Zach has earned a reputation for a caring approach to his clients, all of whom get his personal cell phone number for unfettered access to him 24/7. In his spare time, Zach enjoys family life with his wife and two sons, including coaching sports that have long passed him by
