Nicholas Nanovic has been with Gross McGinley, LLP for 5 years, joining the firm as a partner in 2019. He is currently the Chair of the Wills Trusts & Estates practice group, and he has more than 15 years of experience, specializing in estate planning and administration. Coming from a similar-sized law firm, Gross McGinley was familiar with Nick’s expertise in the EP/Estates/Tax areas and was happy to have him join the firm. Nick had the opportunity to build his practice and take on a leadership role as Chair of the Wills Trusts & Estates practice group. Nick credits the excellent team of attorneys and staff and the collaborative effort of the firm as his favorite part of being a partner at Gross McGinley. It’s the satisfaction of helping people get from point A to point B through creative solutions that Nick enjoys most about being an attorney. He is driven to help his clients plan for their future and the future of their families. He is motivated by his peers and how they all work to inspire each other and celebrate each other’s successes. For Nick, success is best summed up in the quote from John Wooden, former basketball head coach and ten-time NCAA champion for the UCLA Bruins: “Success is peace of mind which is a direct result of self-satisfaction in knowing you did your best to become the best you are capable of becoming.”Nick is deeply engaged in community service. He serves on the Board of Governors for Lehigh Valley Community Foundation, and he is the county coordinator for the Wills for Heroes program in Lehigh and Northampton Counties. He is also devoted to guiding young attorneys looking to make their way through a complex but rewarding profession. He advises them to find a good mentor in practice, life, and interpersonal interaction. Empathy and listening with a discerning ear are things you cannot learn in law school, so lean and learn on the expertise of a good mentor. As a boxer during college, Nick knows how to get back up when knocked down and continue the fight for success and prosperity. Not only for him and his family, but for his clients, peers, and friends.
