Gross McGinley’s Employment Group spoke at the Society for Human Resource Managers Lehigh Valley (SHRMLV) #HRLegalTrends Conference on October 3, 2016. Attorneys Loren Speziale, Kim Spotts-Kimmel, and Zachary Fowler presented a session entitled “Drafting and Litigating Restrictive Covenants in the Lehigh Valley” on the first day of the two-day conference. Their presentation highlighted the various restrictive covenants available to employers and how Pennsylvania courts as well as other states enforce such agreements. Loren discussed best practices for instituting non-compete/non-solicitations and other such agreements to ensure employers are protecting their interests. Kim provided important information relating to intellectual property and the types of restrictive covenants that can help protect valuable trade secrets.
