Attorney Jackson Eaton was recently invited to participate in a panel discussion hosted by Kreischer Miller entitled “Critical Governance Issues of Not-for-Profit Boards”. The breakfast seminar was held on May 16th at DeSales University Center. As an attorney with a deep experience in the non-profit industry, Jackson was asked to provide the legal perspective for the morning’s discussion. A variety of topics were covered including fiduciary responsibility, diversity, fundraising, insurance, and other important matters that directly impact non-profits and the professionals who serve on their boards.Jackson’s fellow panelists included Harold G. Black, Air Products executive and President of the Board for The Bach Choir of Bethlehem, and Maxine G. Romano, CPA and Not-for-Profit Industry Group Leader at Kreischer Miller. The panel was moderated by Elizabeth F.
