On June 9th, Gross McGinley was honored to be presented with one of the LGBT Community Leadership Awards from the Bradbury-Sullivan LGBT Community Center. The firm was recognized along with other Lehigh Valley businesses and leaders including Attorney Mark Albright, Mary Lisicky of Morgan Stanley, Ariel Torres, Muhlenberg Trans* Advocacy Coalition and the Women’s 5K Classic. Held at Willow Tree Grove, the awards were a part of the Community Center’s annual fundraising event which featured a keynote speech by style icon and Lehigh Valley native, Carson Kressley.Members of Gross McGinley’s LGBT Practice Group were on-hand to receive the award including Allen Tullar and Kim Spotts-Kimmel. While the needs of the LGBT community are much the same as everyone else, our attorneys are well-versed in the unique nuances of LGBT legal issues and have received specific ethical and sensitivity training allowing for our clients to feel comfortable and welcome.Given the recent tragedy in Orlando, we reflect on this award and will continue our leadership in the legal community and beyond.
