With more than a decade of legal experience, Safa will provide legal counsel in business, real estate and bankruptcy law matters.Prior to joining Gross McGinley, Safa practiced law in Maryland. She worked as a bankruptcy attorney, real estate attorney and contract attorney, as well as a contract administrator for the Baltimore Office of Promotion & The Arts, Inc. Safa’s varied experience adds value to Gross McGinley’s services, as she has helped business owners navigate warehousing, farm, commercial and residential real estate matters. Her knowledge of contracts also extends to intellectual property, including privacy policies, terms of use, and trademark searches. Having served in municipal, banking and non-profit industries, she provides diverse insights to Gross McGinley’s business law clients.Safa Ashrafi earned her J.D. from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, and a B.A. in Political Science from University of Maryland. A Maryland native, she resides in the Fishtown neighborhood of Philadelphia. Beyond helping her clients thrive, Safa is committed to healthy eating, yoga, and making her community safer through volunteering with Support Center for Child Advocates in Philadelphia.
